The following categories of records may be held. Not all records are automatically available; access is subject to PAIA.
The prescribed request form and fee schedule are published by the Information Regulator. A request fee and an access fee may be payable as set out in the PAIA Regulations. We will notify you of any fee before processing your request and will respond within 30 days, as required by PAIA.
Access to a record may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of Part 3 of PAIA, including the mandatory protection of the privacy of a third party (such as another family's personal information), commercial information of a third party, and records privileged from production in legal proceedings.
If you simply want to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you or your child, you usually do not need a formal PAIA request — email privacy@kovaverse.co.za and see section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
If a request is refused, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator or apply to a court as provided for in PAIA.
